Dear Readers,
After years of trying to figure out my “proper place in the internet,” I’ve decided to transition to a new blog. I know. Yet again. But this time I’m teaming up with my cousin Jenna to write, “The Nine to Five Balance,” a blog about navigating a healthy professional life.
I’m doing this for a few reasons:
1. I want to help people. And I want to write a blog that can be understand by the common (wo)man. I want to open up a dialogue about how we can not only get through this life – but live it wholeheartedly.
2. That said, I don’t have time to manage a blog on my own. With Jenna’s help, we can together write a blog with fresh and helpful content.
What will happen to my posts about bookmaking? Well, I now have an online portfolio associated with my name in which I can display my projects in a more professional capacity.
What about my heart-to-hearts? Yes, I’ve used B&C for deep and personal musings. That won’t necessarily be part of the Nine to Five Balance, though I’m sure serious topics will pop up. But I want to start channeling these feelings through creative writing and therapy. More privately.
I hope you join me in yet another blogging space. Though the name will change, the writer is still the same. I hope this new space can help you grow, too.
